Exploring the History of Race and Redemption through Fiction

Falmouth Academy's 2022-23 Community Series kicks off on February 16 at 7 PM in the Simon Center for the Arts with an author event & book signing with Ousmane Power-Greene Ph.D., Program Director of Africana Studies and an Associate Professor of History at Clark University. The event is titled, "Exploring the History of Race and Redemption through Fiction" and Dr. Power-Greene will be interviewed by Mindy Todd, host of the CAI radio show, The Point. Power-Greene's newest book, The Confessions of Matthew Strong, has been noted by NPR as one of the best books of the year and described as a "wildly original, incendiary story about race, redemption, the dangerous imbalances that continue to destabilize society, and speaking out for what’s right."
